Lead Management

How to view leads, filter them, update statuses, analyse answers and export data.

Updated: April 2026

What is a Lead#

A lead is the contact information (name, email, phone) of a person who completed your quiz and submitted the lead capture form.

πŸ’‘

A lead is counted as "opened" the first time you view its details in the dashboard β€” that is when it is deducted from your plan quota. Completing the quiz without a manager opening the record does not consume the quota.

Leads Table#

Go to the Leads section in the dashboard sidebar. All contacts collected across all your quizzes are shown here.

Table columns:

ColumnDescription
NameFull name entered in the lead form
EmailEmail address
PhonePhone number (if collected)
QuizName of the quiz the lead came from
Statusnew / contacted / qualified / disqualified
AI Scorehot / warm / cold (Premium only)
Country / CityGeolocation based on IP address
DateDate and time the quiz was completed

Lead Details#

Click any row in the table to open a side panel with full information about the lead.

πŸ’¬

Quiz Answers

All answers in the order the lead went through the quiz β€” handy for qualification before a call.

πŸ“

Geolocation

Country and city are detected automatically from the IP address.

πŸ“±

Device

Device type (mobile / desktop / tablet), browser and OS.

πŸ”—

UTM Parameters

Source, medium, campaign β€” useful when the lead arrived via a paid ad campaign.

Lead Statuses#

Each lead can be assigned a status to track the sales process:

StatusMeaning
newNew lead, not yet processed
contactedManager has already reached out
qualifiedLead is qualified β€” a potential customer
disqualifiedLead is not a fit or declined

To change a status β€” open the lead details and select a new status from the dropdown. The change is saved immediately.

AI Lead Scoring#

Premium

On the Premium plan every lead automatically receives an AI score based on their quiz answers:

  • πŸ”₯ Hot β€” high purchase intent; top priority for your sales team.
  • 🌑️ Warm β€” interested but needs additional nurturing.
  • ❄️ Cold β€” low conversion probability in the near term.
πŸ’‘

Filter the table by AI score: managers can work through hot leads first without wasting time on cold ones.

Filters and Search#

  • Search β€” by name, email or phone.
  • Quiz filter β€” show leads from a specific quiz only.
  • Status β€” new / contacted / qualified / disqualified.
  • AI score β€” hot / warm / cold (Premium).
  • Date range β€” leads for a specific period.

CSV Export#

  • Click the "Export" button in the top-right corner of the leads table.
  • Optionally apply filters before exporting to download only the leads you need.
  • The CSV includes: name, email, phone, quiz, date, status, AI score, all quiz answers, UTM, device and country.

Duplicate Protection#

Qwizoo automatically blocks repeat submissions from the same email or phone number (if enabled in quiz settings β†’ Security section). If someone tries to go through the quiz again with the same details, they see a message saying they have already registered.

IP Blocklist

In the Settings section you can block specific IP addresses β€” useful if someone is deliberately flooding your database with test submissions.

SMS / OTP Phone Verification#

Comfort+
  • Enable "SMS Verification" in quiz settings β†’ Security section.
  • When filling out the Lead Form the visitor receives an SMS with a 6-digit code. Without the correct code the form cannot be submitted.
  • Verified numbers are marked in the leads table with a βœ“ Verified badge.
πŸ’‘

SMS verification significantly reduces fake leads and incorrectly entered numbers.

Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA#

  • Invisible protection by default β€” in most cases the visitor sees no challenge at all.
  • Challenge only on suspicious activity β€” if Cloudflare detects bot traffic, the visitor is shown a simple interactive challenge.
  • Protection is active on all plans and requires no configuration from the user.

Partial Lead Capture#

If a visitor fills in their email in the lead form step and clicks Next but never reaches the final Submit button, Qwizoo automatically saves them as an incomplete lead β€” so you never lose a contact who showed intent.

  • Incomplete leads appear in the Leads table under the Incomplete tab.
  • They do not count toward your monthly lead quota.
  • They do not trigger the follow-up email engine.
  • If the same visitor later finishes the quiz, the incomplete record is automatically upgraded to a full lead (status: new).
πŸ’‘

Use the Incomplete tab to identify drop-off patterns and reach out manually to the most promising contacts before they forget about your quiz.
